Our Licensed Preschool serves students from the age of 2-5 years. The fun of phonics will be added to the learning progress over the next few months, as our youngest learners are introduced the Capit's grant-funded and research-based, Tier 1 phonics program.

St. Augustine School received a generous grant, sponsored by the Helen and Will Webster Foundation and Azusa Pacific University, The Bringing STEM to Life program offers mini-grants to assist teachers of STEM subjects throughout Los Angeles County. Thank you for this incredible gift to our students and teachers. This grant will support: Classroom or student resources; Professional development; Teacher resources (software, cloud-based curriculum, and supplementary materials); Virtual field trips or in-school presentations.

Collaboration and community building are a priority within our rich and diverse learning environment! St. Augustine School has been a "good neighbor" and non-profit partner in education in Culver City since 1926! Recently, we welcomed the Culver City Chamber of Commerce businesses to our school for a "Donut & Coffee Mixer" to learn more about our amazing, young leaders of the future.

On Saturday afternoon, February 10, 2024, our school families gathered to celebrate Valentine's Day with a Father-Daughter and Mother-Son Dance. The day happen to fall on the 1st Day of Lunar New Year. Much fun was to be had by all little ones and their extended families!

During the month of January 2024, our students visited NASA's JPL Lab in Pasadena, California, to learn about US space exploration, the applied sciences, human ingenuity, and the financial investment it takes to advance discovery in outer space!
